Hello...

...I’m Mike Bucher, The Better Home Inspector. I’ve been in the construction trades for over 40 years as a trades-man and a licensed general contractor and I have done it all. I am a Certified Real Estate and Title Inspector HIF and I want to put my experience to work for you before you buy or sell that special home or commercial property.

What makes me The Better Home Inspector? I inspect not only for the obvious but the often unseen, under-lying and hidden, costly problems.  And, unlike many other inspectors, I will tell you what’s right about the home as well.
I invite you to come along with me during your inspection so that I can point out my findings to you as I go along. Yes, you can ask as many questions as you want and, no, I won’t think any of your questions off-point.  I work for you as an objective, impartial inspector. I want to tell you everything you need to know about your home to potentially save you countless dollars in unseen repairs.

The average inspection takes 2 to 4 hours but I will work with you until you’re satisfied.  When we’re done you won’t be depending solely on my verbal answers to your questions, you will get a detailed 28-page computer-generated report in summary form. In this report you will have the answers you need to buy or sell your home with confidence. Of course, it’s not always possible for the customer to attend the inspection. Not to worry.  If you can’t be there; I will give you my best possible effort to identify any problems and save you money.
